Life arises before the state and positive law. The state may recognize, protect, or violate the conditions of life, but it does not create the bodily necessity of space.

Natural and positive law
Natural law expresses conditions without which life cannot be preserved. Positive law gives them social form. The task of the Lokvita organization is to research, formulate, and seek legal recognition of the primary right to a space of life.
